Amal Clooney

Amal Alamuddin was born Beirut. Her birthplace was Beirut, Lebanon. Arabic name'ml amal, meaning "hope". The young girl was only 2 when her family moved to Buckinghamshire from Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. Ramzi Alamuddin received his MBA from the American University of Beirut. Ramzi Alamuddin was a Lebanese Druze and was from Baakline village which is part of the Alam al-Din family in Chouf District. He returned to Lebanon in 1991 [12][13] shortly after the close of the civil conflict. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. Her title was foreign editor of al-Hayat which is a Saudi-owned paper. [16] She is a founder of the public relations company International Communication Experts, which is part of a larger business that specializes in booking celebrity guests photographer for publicity and event promotion. Amal was the smallest of her three kids that include a half-sister (Tala), and two children from the father of Amal's previous marriage. Amal went to Dr Challoner's school located in Little Chalfont Buckinghamshire before going to university. After graduating of St Hugh's College in Oxford with an Exhibition Grant, as well as the Shrigley Award, she studied at St Hugh's College. Her graduation was with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the field of jurisprudence in. After that, she entered New York University School of Law to earn an Master of Laws Degree (LL.M). She was awarded the Jack J. Katz Memorial Award for her excellence in entertainment law.While studying at NYU she worked for one term in the office of Sonia Sotomayor, then a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and NYU Law faculty of the Second Circuit.
